Faith Forward Partners began as an idea that took root over time, nurtured by a shared vision to create a Christ-centered opportunity that would empower others while fostering a community of believers.
Our journey started with Barry Borthistle, the former CEO of TriVita, who was actively involved in his Ministry and marketing his books. During this time, Barry introduced me, Doug Morneau, to Michael Ellison, the founder of TriVita.
Initially, our conversations revolved around various topics, but the idea of creating an affiliate program for TriVita wasn’t on the table for nearly a year.
As the world continued to move a significant amount of commerce online, we recognized a unique opportunity.
We saw how the digital landscape was transforming the way people shopped and understood that there was a chance to create something special—a program that not only aligned with our Christian values but also worked with a brand that prioritized people before profits. Michael Ellison also observed the growing number of customers calling TriVita who were open to their team praying for them, with many actively asking for prayer.
The discussions around the affiliate program were gradual, stretching over the course of a year. As we started to document what this could look like, the vision became clearer. We saw an opportunity to create a platform that was perfectly aligned with our Christ-first belief system—one that would not only help others earn income but also support and encourage fellow believers.
TriVita would continue to do what they do best: creating and selling high-quality supplements, providing excellent customer service and support, and ministering to their customers. This left Faith Forward Partners to focus solely on building out and managing the affiliate program, recruiting, and supporting the affiliates. It’s almost like a match made in heaven.
My wife, Heather, and I took the reins of Faith Forward Partners. I focus on marketing and training, ensuring that our affiliates are well-equipped to succeed. Heather, with her background in charitable work and fundraising, took charge of developing the charitable and giving side of Faith Forward Partners, ensuring that our efforts also contribute to the greater good.
Together with prayers, the vision and support of Barry Borthistle founder of Solomon’s Porch Teaching, Ruth Borthistle, Michael Ellison, and Marcus Ellison of TriVita, we established Faith Forward Partners as a beacon for those who seek to integrate their faith with their own side hustle or business.
I believe our initiative provides a path to prosperity that honors God and supports the well-being of others.
